Zimbali Beach

The Zimbali Beach is located within the Zimbali Coastal Estate. It has 3km of unspoilt beach and offers beach goers the contrasting beauty of the green forest estate with the deep blue warm Indian Ocean.
Ballito's Main Beach

Willard Beach is considered Ballito's main beach. This beach has been awarded Blue Flag status, which is only given to beaches that are clean, safe and environmentally sound. Willard Beach provides a safe place to play and swim with lifeguards 7 days a week as well as protected by shark nets.
Salmon Bay

South of Ballito is Salmon Bay. This beach is a designated launch area for watercraft. It is popular amongst surfers and is home to the Ballito Inflatable Boat clubhouse. With the unspoilt beaches, it is a great place to enjoy the breathtaking sunsets.
Thompsons Bay

Just north of Ballito you'll find Thompsons Bay. This beach is another extremely popular spot and has both qualified lifeguards and shark nets to ensure safety at all times. A great feature of Thompsons Bay is the large tidal pool called "Charlie's Pool" which provides safe swimming conditions for young and old alike.
Clarke Bay

Yet another beach in Ballito, Clarke Bay is manned by lifeguards and protected by shark nets ensuring a high level of safety and worry-free fun in the sun. Just south of Clarke Bay is the Ballito tidal pool, where many visitors, big and small, prefer to swim. The tidal pool is well maintained and some interesting sea life can be found in the pool.
Westbrook Beach

If you are looking for one of those romantic long walks along the beach, Westbrook Beach is the ideal place for this. With qualified lifeguards and protected by shark nets.
Shakas Rock

Shaka's Rock offers bathing, surfing, rock pools, snorkelling and boat launch sites and are a good choice if you are looking to avoid the crowds.
Salt Rock

At Salt Rock, access to the beach is through private farms only.
Sheffield Beach

Sheffield Beach is a hot spot for spear fishing and scuba diving.
Umhlanga Beach

Umhlanga is one of the most popular beach resort destinations on the east coast of South Africa. The bathing is safe and the warm Indian Ocean waters wash the miles of golden beaches and laid-back fun in the sun beckons.
North Beach

North Beach is Durbans main beach, and it is where everything is happening. North Beach refers both to a specific beach as well an area which stretches from north of the bottom of West Street to the Suncoast Casino, and a couple of roads inland.
