If you are a mountain bike rider Zimbali is your best destination for your holiday. Looking for a top bike Shop, you can visit Zululand Cycles, which is in Ballito within 2 km of the Zimbali North Gate.

• Riding on the estate

  If you want a good workout you can have a safe ride within the borders of the estate exploring all our roads from the South gate to the North gate.

• Holla MTB Trails

  Holla Trails MTB bike venue is system of marked mountain biking trails among the farms in the Ballito. Holla Trails consists of nearly 300kms of marked and signed trails and is continually being improved and added! There are trails for both novice and experienced mountain bikers alike. Holla is close to the best mountain biking trails venue in South Africa. That means the longest, most varied and fun trails that can be found in one area. Perfect for a Saterday morning Ride and a great venue for the whole family, , riders and non riders.

Running & Walking

Explore the Zimbali Coastal Resort in all its glory the way nature intended, by foot. Whether it's a brisk run through the estate, or a leisurely stroll through many of the nature paths. It's bound to leave you feeling relaxed and refreshed.

Swimming

With 11 different pools to choose from in Zimbali you are definitely spoilt for choice. There are plenty swimming activities suited from young to old, whether enjoying the slides at Bushbuck pools or soaking up the sun at the Valley of Pools situated right on the beach.

Horse Riding

The horse riding experience in Zimbali is an unforgettable one hour journey. Your ride starts at the stables on the hill, through the indigenous forest and then on to the beach. For the adventurous riders take a run through the waves on horse back. Children from the age of 5 years old can join in this experience. We do not allow 2 people on a horse. Microlighting

Ballito Microlight School operate a FULL TIME TRAINING facility at Ballito Bay. The School is less than 10 minutes from Zimbali. The area offers excellent weather all year round, suitable for flight training and is set amongst rolling sugar cane estates.
