Miss World Beach Beauty 2009 At Zimbali

Zimbali Coastal Resort has been pleased to have hosted this years Miss World Beach Beauty contest on the 25th of November 2009. Formerly known as the Best in swimwear award, the Miss World Beach Beauty is a fast track or swimsuit competition in the Miss World Beauty Pageant.

Miss World Beach Beauty is a world first and a 1-hour TV spectacular thereon is to be televised to 183 countries on the 5th of December 2009. In addition to this, an 8-minute edit on Zimbali is to be included in the main Miss World Beauty Pageant event that is being televised live to almost 200 countries on the 12th of December 2009. Both events will be viewed by billions of viewers, an incredibly exciting opportunity to showcase Zimbali that is not to be missed.

Zimbali Lodge

One of South Africa's most exclusive hideaways is none other than Zimbali Lodge. Described as a santuary under an abundant forest canopy, Zimbali Lodge hotel is surrounded by lush vegetation and beautiful indigenous gardens.

Hluhluwe Game Reserve - North Of Zimbali

Hluhluwe Game Reserve is the oldest Park in Africa where you can view the Big Five (Lion, Rhinoceros, Leopard, Buffalo and Elephant). Less than 2 hours drive from Zimbali Estate and established way back in 1895, Hluhluwe Game Reserve is where great Zulu Kings such as Dingiswayo and Shaka hunted and put in place the first conservation laws.

The Park also has become world renowned for its population of White Rhino, where they helped keep these animals away from near-extinction, from being less than 20 worldwide in 1900 to over 10,000 today.
