Zimbali Beach

The Zimbali Beach is located within the Zimbali Coastal Estate. It has 3km of unspoilt beach and offers beach goers the contrasting beauty of the green forest estate with the deep blue warm Indian Ocean.

The beach can be accessed on foot from the beach club.

NB: Swimming is not allowed on the Beach

Salmon Bay

South of Ballito is Salmon Bay. This beach is a designated launch area for watercraft. It is popular amongst surfers and is home to the Ballito Inflatable Boat clubhouse. With the unspoiled beaches, it is a great place to enjoy the breathtaking sunsets.

North Beach

North Beach is Durban’s main beach, and it is where everything is happening. North Beach refers both to a specific beach as well an area which stretches from north of the bottom of West Street to the Suncoast Casino, and a couple of roads inland.

Clarke Bay

Yet another beach in Ballito, Clarke Bay is manned by lifeguards and protected by shark nets ensuring a high level of safety and worry-free fun in the sun. Just south of Clarke Bay is the Ballito tidal pool, where many visitors, big and small, prefer to swim. The tidal pool is well maintained and some interesting sea life can be found in the pool.

Willard Beach is considered Ballito’s main beach. This beach has been awarded Blue Flag status, which is only given to beaches that are clean, safe and environmentally sound. Willard Beach provides a safe place to play and swim with lifeguards 7 days a week as well as protected by shark nets.
